What Salesforce does in AI agents
Salesforce describes itself as the first AI CRM and says it brought CRM to the cloud in 1999. Its agent strategy has two parts: Agentforce, the agents it sells on its own platform, and Agent Fabric, a control plane that discovers and governs agents built on any platform. In October 2026 it added evaluation and cost-limit features to Agent Fabric. The timeline below lists every story on this site that names Salesforce.
